In the wake of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), restaurants were given the mandatory order to lockdown their dine-in areas and restricted to only delivery and take-out. This was done to prevent the widespread of the virus, as the number of cases has increased in Canada for a few weeks now. Any business found violating this order could face a penalty of up to $25,000 per day.
