It's finally #thirstythursday! I was invited to attend the official launch of Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea earlier last week, and was able to taste test all three flavors. The event was held at one of Toronto’s newest rooftop patios, Mascot Brewery, on Mercer St. Mascot Brewery occupies the rooftop level above Odd Thomas Bar, and is outfitted with picnic tables attached to large umbrellas, astro turf, and a full bar. This was a great space to hold a launch party, and everyone looked like they had a great time.
So, what is Jeremiah Weed? Jeremiah Weed is an American brand of bourbon whiskey-based products, and this was their official launch into the Canadian market with their new spiked iced tea products.

Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea is a new, premium malt alcoholic beverage with three refreshing flavors; lemon, peach,
and raspberry. The beverages are now available in all Beer Stores across
Ontario, and they're sold 6 x 355 ml cans ($12.95).
The Flavors:
Lemon: The lemon flavoured Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea has a great zesty flavor, and tastes just like iced-tea. Additionally, the drink also has a refreshing blend of
black tea and candy-like lemon.
Peach: The peach flavoured Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea is a refreshing blend of
black tea and juicy peaches.
Raspberry: The raspberry flavoured Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea has a nice blend of black tea and sweet raspberry.
My favorite flavor out of the three available was probably the peach one. I loved the smell of the drink, and it was just simply light, and refreshing. The Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea beverages are best served cold, and straight from the can. So, I could completely see myself drinking this poolside to cool down from the heat.

Additionally, Jeremiah Weed, worked collaboratively with Mascot Brewery, on serving mind-blowing food combinations inspired
by the Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Teas that night. I'd say that the food that guests were able to sample that night complemented rather well with the Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Tea beverages. My personal favorite was the chocolate pretzel bun chicken burger with peanut butter aioli, which was an interesting combination. My initial thought was that it was quite weird to mesh sweet, and savory together, but the chocolate pretzel bun went rather well with the chicken.
The weather is getting hotter by the day, so now is the perfect time to enjoy one of Jeremiah Weed Spiked Iced Teas. Cheers!
